Astoria, New York based artist, Ashlee Romain has been cultivating and creating art for several years. In all forms of her art, she finds fulfillment in composing the atypical from typical. For her fine art, she typically blends pencil, pens, and marker into mixed media pieces. She also constructs meaningful digital illustration artworks, along with visiting the acrylic and charcoal mediums seasonally. She draws inspiration from everything; historical context and news stories, to random objects seen on the street curb, down to the food she eats. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in New Media from The Pennsylvania State University where she focused and continues to focus on drawing and New Media arts. Most recently, Ashlee’s art has been featured in LIC-A’s Atlantic Gallery in-person show gallery viewing.

By day, she is an Emmy-nominated and award-winning Television and Video Producer, with 12+ years in the entertainment and media industry; working primarily on cooking, lifestyle and documentary programming. By night and weekend she continues to create mixed media and digital art.
